Summary
This app supports a team of learners to build a 'Future Radar' report for a selected organisation that provides valuable insights to leaders to shape innovation strategy. The program facilitators will provide learners feedback. The app takes learners through a structured process to;
- Develop an understanding of a selected client organisation’s business of today
- Understand the megatrends relevant to that organisation and their sector
- Identify specific ‘Horizon 3’ issues, technologies & startups the organisation can learn from
- Craft plausible scenarios about the future for the organisation
- Offer recommendations the organisation could consider now to be more successful in this future scenario
This experience requires 60-120 hours of work depending on the depth and quality of analysis expected. Learners are supported with practical content and insights from program facilitators Beau Leese and Ruth Marshall, two leading innovators with CXO experience in R&D, startup and global consulting organisations. Learners form teams and complete 3 key deliverables to build up to the final presentation. Learners undertake self reflection & peer 360 degree evaluations, and a final individual reflection. The industry client reviews deliverables and is expected to be engaging the team for 1 hour each week and providing inputs.
